Breaking: Buhari reconstitutes NNPC Board

President Mohammadu Buhari reconstitutes NNPC Board for the next three years.

The Nigerian president, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari (Rtd), has approved the reconstitution of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC board.

These set of board members are to take on the Affairs of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation group for the next three years.

Buhari approved the list in the early hours of today and they are to commence duty with immediate effect.

The six-men list was compiled from all the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.

According to the list of the new board members, the new appointees and their geopolitical zones are;
Mohammed Lawal, from the North Western part of Nigeria
Tajudeen Umar, from the North Eastern part
Adamu Mahmood Attah, from North Central
Senator Magnus Abe, From South South
Dr. Stephen Dike, from South East
And lastly, Chief Pius Akinyelure from the south Western part of the country.

These set of people will be the new board members for NNPC during the space of the next ten years.
