Osun state flags off planting season and gives planting and farming materials to Farmers.

The government of Osun State under the leadership of Gov. Adegboyega Oyetola has flags of planting season by giving planting materials to Farmers.
Oyetola, while flagging off the planting season for the year 2020 in the state said his Government is committed is committed to empowering youths and investors through agricultural practices in the state.
“We’re fully committed to developing agriculture value chain”, he said.

In the event that took place at the state’s secretary, Abeere Osogbo, gov. Oyetola gave farming inputs, equipment and planting materials to no less than 6000 farmers in the state.
This move by the state government is said to aim at promoting and encouraging farming practices and increasing food production in the state.
In addition, the Governor said it will create more employment opportunity for many youths.
Among many things distributed are Cocoa seeds, maize seeds, rice seeds and other planting materials.
Farmers were also given knapsack sprayers, and varieties of herbicides.
