Police recovered 11 cows detains councilor in Adamawa state

Adamawa state Police force has recovered 11 cows and detain a councilor over cattle rustling in the state.

Nigerian Police force, Adamawa state command has announced the recovery of 11 cows from Makana Enan Ngari who is the councilor representing Vulpi ward of Numan Local Government Area and others.

The state police force via her spokesman, DSP Suleiman Nguroje said the detainment of the councilor has been yielding positive results.

Recall that Makana Ngari has been in detention by the state’s police force for the offense of cattle rustling.

SaharaReporters confirmed that the police force has released the recovered cows to the leadership of Pulaku Njonde Jam, Adamawa State chapter, on bond and assured of recovering more as investigation is still ongoing.

However, the state commissioner for police has assured the general public that the remaining cows will be recovered.

He also urge them to remain calm as the force is doing everything legal to recover the rustled cows.
