Update on COVID-19 in Nigeria

Latest update on COVID-19 in Nigeria as reported by NCDC on the 25th of May 2020.

Yesterday the 25th of May, 2020 229 new confirmed cases of coronavirus was recorded in Nigeria, bringing the total confirmed cases to 8068 with 2311 discharged and 233 deaths as revealed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease and Control.

This data is in accordance with the NCDC daily update on COVID-19 in Nigeria.

According to the agency, out of the 229 new cases, 90 new cases was recorded in Lagos, while 27 in Kastina.

Imo state also take 26 of the new cases and Kano has 23 new cases, while 12 was reported in Plateau, and 9 in Ogun state.

Also, there were 7 new cases in Delta and 5 in Borno and Rivers State, while there are only 4 in Oyo.

3 new cases were also discovered in Gombe and Osun state recorded another 2 in the state, while Anambra and Bayelsa has just 1 each and 14 in Abuja.
