A Nigerian cleric, Adewale Giwa has advised the president of Nigeria, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari, Rtd. to consider the plights of the citizens and restructure the country.

According to DailyPost, Giwa said the greatest gift the Buhari-led administration can give to Nigerians is to restructure the country through disintegration.

Backing up his point, he quoted Genesis chapter 10:32 saying;

“The descendants of Noah’s three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth spread out over the earth after the flood.

When the region where they lived experienced rapid growth, they decided to separate so they could manage what they had.

The cleric went further to say the reason the previous administrations and this present one fail is because Nigeria is “bigger than any president that can rule her.”

“The greatest gift president Buhari can give Nigerians is to allow us to go. The body language of the people is calling for separation, that is the truth.”

“I have chosen to speak the truth; the president must take action to ensure this happens.

He added.

The cleric went further to state that the Nigerian population calling for restructuring is more than 80% of the entire population.

He added that if Nigeria couldn’t be fixed since 1960 that she became independent, then it shows Nigeria is bigger than what a president can manage.

Furthermore, he added the Nigerians are not calling for war, but to live peacefully “so that we can hear each other’s language.”

Speaking further, the cleric advised President Buhari to take actions in restructuring Nigeria because Nigeria have enough resources to divide without enmity.
