COVID-19 update on June 22, Nigeria recorded 675 new cases, toll rise to 20,919.
Again, Nigeria has recorded new set of COVID-19 patients across tbe country reaching up to 675 in number.
The accuracy is based of the data released by Nigeria Center for Diseases Control, NCDC, in the late hours of Monday.
NCDC in her daily COVID-19 situation report, has said Nigeria fresh six hundred and seventy-five (675) positive cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
Careful analysis of the report showed thag Lagos state has the highest number of positive cases on Monday 22nd of June, having 288 cases.
Also, Oyo state recorded 86 new cases while Rivers state recorded 56 new cases, all on Monday.
It is of note that Rivers state has been recording high number of new cases in recent time.
Meanwhile, Delta and Ebonyi states also recorded 31 and 30 new cases of the virus respectively.
On the same note, Gombe state recorded 28, meanwhile, each of the following states recorded 20 each, on Monday; Ondo, Kaduna, and Kwara.
However, Ogun also recorded 17 new cases, Abuja and Edo, on the other hand, recorded 16 and 13 respectively.
Also, Aia recorded 10 new cases on Mondag, Nasarawa, and Imo states had 9 each.
Bayelsa, Borno, Katsina, has also recorded 8 cases each and Sokoto and Bauchi recorded 3 cases of the virus each and plateau recorded just 2.
With this report by NCDC, the total positivecases of COVID-19 discovered in Nigeria from the outbreak has now reach 20,919.
Meanwhile, a total death of 7,109 deaths were recorded on the long run, and 525 fully healed and discharde.
