FG set to Begin N-Power Batch C Recruitment

FG set to begin N-Power batch C recruitment by June 26 2020, disclosed plans for batch A and B beneficiaries which are to expire soon.

The Federal Government is set to commence the recruitment exercise forward N-Power Batch C volunteer.

This information was contained in a statement signed by the deputy director information of the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Rhoda Ishaku Iliya.

Rhoda Iliya said the recruitment portal will be opened by the end of June, that is, June 26, 2020 and the recruitment will take effect by July 26, 2020.

According to Iliya, the commencement of the Batch C enrolment is set to commence after due consultation with the appropriate quarters.

Furthermore, the new N-Power batch is also being enrolled to provide opportunities for more Nigerian youths to access the programme.

Also, it is another step in fulfilling the Federal Government’s promise to alleviate no less than 100 Million Nigerians out of poverty; the ministry disclosed.

Speaking further, the ministry’s deputy director of information disclosed that the batch A N-Power volunteers will be dismissed by June 30, 2020.

Meanwhile, batch B beneficiaries will also exit the program by July 31, 2020. He therefore added that there are plans on ground to turn then in on entrepreneurship.

Method of Application for the N-Power Batch C Recruitment

The application, once released will be through a hybrid system of enrolment, this is said to ensure dividend in registration.

Iliya also pledged the ministry’s special consideration for disabled persons across the country.

The application is strictly online through the N-Power registration portal which will be disclosed soon.

All applicants are expected to submit their Bank Verification Number (BVN) during the application process, this is to prevent government employees and other gainfully employed individuals from applying.

Kindly note that Batch A and B beneficiaries are prohibited from re-applying as the federal government is working towards transferring them to entrepreneurship programs.
