Former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi is not dead, Kemi Olunloyo clears air on his health status.
Rumours have it that the Oyo State former Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has died due to underlying health condition worsened by the Coronavirus.
This is however not true as, Popular Investigative Journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has taken to Twitter to debunk the news.
According to her she got confirmation from the Family of the Abiola Ajimobi, and he is alive, talking and recovering.
Debunking the rumor, Kemi Olunloyo took to her Twitter account and tweeted:
“#Breaking, I was inundated by messages that government @AAAjimobi has Died in Lagos! I could not get the info from Oyo lawmakers, elites, media. I have finally confirmed and spoke to the family 9:15pm 6/18/20. He is alive and talking recovery.”
The renowned journalist further disclosed that, one of Ajimobi’s daughter told her that God is not ready to take their father yet and he has served Nigeria well and would continue to do so.

Meanwhile, Nigeria News World said in our earlier report that the former governor is hospitalized in an undisclosed hospital with a sickness suspected to be coronavirus disease.
