Jamb set to hold policy meeting with no less than 4000 heads of Nigerian institutions by June 16 as regards 2020 admission process.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set to hold a policy meeting with all tertiary institutions in Nigeria by June 16 as regards 2020 admission process.
JAMB disclosed this on Monday in her weekly publication from the office of the registrar of the board.
The admission board disclosed that the policy meeting which is to be chaired by the honorable minister of education will have no less than 4000 heads of Nigerian institutions in attention.
The projected 4000 attendance comprises of all Nigerian Universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and all other diploma and degree awarding institutions in Nigeria and some other stakeholders.
JAMB disclosed that the meeting will be a virtual one due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country and the guidelines that prohibits gatherings of more than 20 peoples.
Nevertheless, this edition of JAMB policy meeting will be the first of its kind to be held online.
Therefore, the board gives room for principal officers in admission office of each institutions to cluster around to attend the virtual meeting.
