Marcus Rashford Calls for an End to Child’s Poverty

Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford calls for an end to child’s poverty, admonished political leaders to #maketheuturn.

The Manchester United and England striker has expressed great concern on child’s poverty over the world.

Rashford, 22, do not only expressed concern, he had also taken it upon himself to be the agent of change around the world.

In his efforts to achieve this, the United forward has delivered an open letter to the MPs of England parliament, asking them to have a rethink and alleviate poverty in the country.

According to The Times, Rashford barely slept on Sunday night as he was worried about the delivery of his open letter and because he knew the impact a U-turn decision could have on families just like his: “low-income families who rarely have a voice.”

This made it evident that Rashford was from a humble background as he recalled the challenges he faced while growing up and the supports he received.

However, the 22 years old player never stopped with the open letter he released to the press as he also used his influence on twitter to further spread the campaign.

In one of his campaign posts on Twitter, the England forward has called everyone who has the capacity to help to always reflect and remember those who are less privileged.
