Military destroyed Boko Haram terrorists’ logistics base in Borno, killed scores of the terrorists.
The Nigerian military has been reportedly destroyed Boko Haram logistics base in Borno in an airstrike.
The Air Task Force, ATF, of Operation Lafiya Dole had carried out an air raid on the arrear and destroyed the hideout of the terrorists groups, killing scores of their members in the process.
Coordinator of Defence Media Operation, Major General John Enenche made this available to the press on Saturday.

Recalling the successful operation which was carried out on the 25th of June, Gen. Enenche disclosed that the air raid was launched under the subsidiary Operation Long Reach after series of surveillance missions indicated a resurgence of terrorists’ activities at Tongule and Bukar Meram.
He said the attack was as a result of a report by credible intelligence which indicated frequent convergence of terrorists at Tongule where about 35 terrorists were spotted by the NAF surveillance aircraft in different parts of the settlement.
In his speech, the defense media coordinator further narrated how the air attack was made on the Tongule hideout, killing their fleeing members in the process.

As well as the attack on Bukar Meram, located at the border of Chad, destroying their logistics base and as well killing their members.
Enenche therefore added that the chief of ai staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, had commended the ATF for their dedication and professionalism.
He also added that the Defence Headquarters equally urges them to intensify the air offensive against the terrorists and all other criminal elements threatening the peace and security of our beloved country.
