COVID-19: Nigeria recorded 454 new cases.

– Nigeria recorded 454 new cases of COVID-19

– Toll rise to over 27,000 with over 11,000 discharges

The Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control has confirmed the recovery of 454 new cases across the country.

The 454 new cases of the COVID-19 disease was recorded of Friday, July 3 across the country.

A breakdown of the new 454 positive cases revealed that Lagos State recorded 87 new cases in the state on Friday.

Also, Edo state recorded, on Friday, 63 new COVID-19 positive cases while the Federal Capital, Abuja recorded 60.

Similarly, the toll in Ondo also rise to 41 cases in a day while Benue and Abia recorded 32 and 31 positive cases in eachs of the states respectively.

Furthermore, Ogun state has also discovered 29 new patients infested with the coronavirus, while Oyo state recorded 19.

The breakdown of the total cases recorded on Fridays showed that Kaduna recorded 17 new cases, Delta recorded 16 and Enugu also recorded 15 new cases.

Similarly, Borno state recorded 14 new cases and Plateau and Nasarawa states recorded 9 and 8 new cases of the virus respectively.

Other states that recorded new cases of coronavirus disease on Friday includes; Kano-5, Bauchi-4, Gombe-2, Katsina-1, Kogi-1.

The total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Nigeria so far is now 27,564 cases and 11,069 of the patients had been discharged.

However, while some were lucky to survive the virus infestation, some of them didn’t make it through, on this list, Nigeria has about 628 patients.
