– The mischievous trickster promised double return of any amount of bitcoin sent to the wallet.

Having watched the top rated money heist movie, most people across the world have thus had the idea of what heist is, but how many people have actually experienced it?

But what do we call what just happened of Twitter in the late hours of Wednesday? Is it the real heist?

Or should we call it crypto currency heist? Well, whatever it is we call it, this is what happened:

On Tuesday, an hacker who gained access to the twitter accounts of those billionaires has promised to double the amount of bitcoin sent to the bitcoin wallet the anonymous released on the hacked profiles, which were noticeably the same on all the profiles.

The anonymous hacker leveraged on the weakness of the world’s top billionaires and took the advantage to loot several of their followers of their bitcoin.

Top billionaires whose account were hacked were said to be Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Kim Kardashian, Jeff Bezos, Kanye West and maybe others.

On Bill Gates’ account, the tweet reads:

“Everyone is asking me to give back, and now is the time. I am doubling all payments sent to my BTC address for the next 30 minutes. You send $1,000, I send you back $2,000. Only going on for 30 minutes! Enjoy!”

Similarly, another tweet from Elon Musk’s Twitter page reads:

“Everyone is asking me to give back, and now is the time. I am doubling all payments sent to my BTC address for the next 30 minutes. You send $1,000, I send you back $2,000. Only going on for 30 minutes! Enjoy!”

Well, many Twitter users have different opinions, but many call it “money heist”, after the popular spanish money heist series, but what do you call it?

It is an undaunted fact that the mischievous sly looted many who decided to “take that opportunity”.
