FG Realeases Date for all Secondary School Examinations

The Federal Government after serious deliberation has released the examination date for all final year secondary school examinations. 

Having reached an agreement for exiting WASSCE class to partially resume to write their final year examination, the Federal government has reached a way to harmonized the examination date for all other WASSCE exams.

With the WAEC examination starting August 17, their has been plans to harmonize other examinations dates, viz National Examination Council, NECO, National Business and Technical Examination Board, NABTEB.

I lieu of these, the Federal Government, after serious deliberation thy lasted 2 days with the said examination boards, has said the National Examination Council (NECO) for SS3 pupils will commence on October 5 and end on November 18, 2020.

Similarly, the federal government also said the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) examinations will commence by September 21 and span to October 15, 2020.

According to the Director of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education (FMoE), Ben Goong, the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into Unity Colleges scheduled for the 17th of October, 2020.

While the Basic Education Certificate Examinations, (BECE) for JSS 3 pupils which is also conducted by NECO, will gold between August 24 and September 7, 2020.

Speaking further, Mr. Going said the registration for the NECO examination is still ongoing as it is scheduled to close finally by September 10 after which no option for an extension.

Meanwhile, the Federal government has directed all exiting students to resume on the 4th of August and have a 2 weeks preparation for the upcoming examinations.
