The World Health Organization, WHO, and the United Nations, UN, has handed tonnes of COVID-19 supplies to the federal government.
This was made public in a tweet through the verified twitter account of the World Health Organization, @WHONigeria.

According to the tweet, the supplies handed over to the federal government of Nigeria are laboratory equipments including PCR test kits and extraction kits.
The tweet also revealed that the purpose of the supplies is to accelerate COVID-19 response rate in the country.
