The surge of Coronavirus disease in Nigeria which as cause a global pandemic has undeniably caused major set backs.
Yet the world still battles with the pandemic with plans being put in place in order to blend with the evolution brought about by the pandemic.
Meanwhile, this is not an indication that the COVID-19 Coronavirus disease has been eradicated as about 22 state recorded New cases of the infectious disease.
The COVID-19 toll in Nigeria is over 47000 cases and still counting with the country recording 423 new cases nationwide.
According to an update released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, it showed that no less than 22 states nationwide recorded the 423 total cases on Tuesday.
The breakdown of the analysis by the disease control commission is shown below;
Lagos – 117
FCT – 40
Ondo – 35
Given this update, it is pertinent to reiterate that the total confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease now sums 46,290 since the index case.
The report is quite incomplete without noting that 33,609 patients as equally recovered from the disease and discharged to their respective homes.
Conclusively, 956 patients has equally lost their lives to the cold hand of death caused by the same Coronavirus disease or rather, COVID-19.
