COVID-19: 7 new deaths as Nigeria records 329 new cases

The fight for survival against the COVID-19 Coronavirus disease in Nigeria has seen to the discovery of 329 new cases.

According to the Nigeria Center for Diseases Control, NCDC, Nigeria on Friday, recorded 329 new positive cases with 7 deaths across the country.

The death toll as at Thursday, according to the agency was 966 and on Friday has risen to 973.



Furthermore, NCDC revealed that 21 states has jointly recorded the said 329 cases.

The breakdown of the new cases by NCDC goes thus;

On this note, Nigeria has a total of 48,445 positive cases of Coronavirus from the date of recording the index case in Lagos.

Furthermore, 35,998 patients have been discharged and a total of 973 deaths recorded so far.
