COVID-19: Ekiti records 2 new cases, total of 104 active cases

Ekiti State has recorded 2 new cases of COVID-19 disease as the state currently battles with 104 active cases.

This was revealed by the state’s COVID-19 task force on Sunday morning.

According to the update, Ekiti state currently have a total of 218 confirmed positive cases but only 104 active cases.

Meanwhile, the state on Saturday, recorded 2 new cases which sumed the total cases to 218.

However, 110 of the cases has been discharged with just 4 of the 218 patients dead.

Similarly, Nigeria recorded a total number of 601 new cases of the COVID-19 disease on Saturday, taking the total number of cases in the country to 51,905.

However, 38,767 of the patients has been discharged with 997 of them dead.
