The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in China, 2019 has thrown the whole world into jeopardy as the whole world now battle with the infectious virus.
Nigeria like other countries of the world is working tirelessly to see to the end of this pandemic.
In a bid to strengthen the response to the COVID-19 pandemic nationwide, the Nigeria Center for Diseases Control, NCDC has acquired a new Molecular lab.
The Nigeria Center for Diseases Control, NCDC, announce the inclusion of a news COVID-19 testing lab on Thursday.
NCDC made this announcement in a tweet on Thursday via her official Twitter handle @NCDCgov.
The tweet announce the inclusion of the General Hospital Onitsha in Anambra State as one of the mecular laboratories for testing COVID-19 samples.
At this moment, the total COVID-19 testing laboratories are 63 in no more than 32 states of the country.
The tweet reads;
We are pleased to announce the inclusion of the General Hospital Onitsha, Anambra to the NCDC Molecular Laboratory Network.

It is important to note that Nigeria COVID-19 cases is now over 47,7000 and more cases are being recorded daily.
