COVID-19: UAE Crowned Prince Donates Medical Supplies to Nigeria

The fight against the COVID-19 pandemic has gone beyond individual country’s fights.

With the general believe of Africa being a third world continent, many supports have been given to the countries of the continent, Nigeria in a specific manner, in order to overcome the historical pandemic.



Nigeria News World recently gathered that another support has been given to Nigeria in order to combat the coronavirus disease.

The support is a kind gesture of the Crowned Prince of thebUnited Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed Al Marktoum.

Sheikh Marktoum has ordered a shipment of medical supplies to Nigeria to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

The announcement was made on the official Twitter page of the UAE media centre @Dubaimediaoffice yesterday.

“@HHSMAM had ordered aid shipments to Nigeria to help the country fight the pandemic. The relief shipments, which include 14 tonnes of medical supplies and 20 tonnes of food supplies were dispatched from the international humanitarian city in Dubai,” the tweet reads.



Meanwhile, Nigeria recently recorded new 325 cases of the Coronavirus disease.
