The students across Oyo State are to pack and dust their bags and books as the governor of the state, Gov. Seyi Makinde has approved resumption date for schools across the state.
Governor Makinde on Tuesday approved and direct all schools across the state to resume on the 21st of September, 2020.
This was contained in a statement signed by the state’s Commissioner for Education, Olasunkanmi Olaleye and made available to the press on Tuesday.
Olaleye revealed that Primary, Secondary and Tertiary institutions of learning across the state are to resume new 2020/2021 academic session on the said September 21.
Speaking further, the commissioner revealed that on resumption, schools will now operate in shift – morning and afternoon – for pupils in primary and secondary schools students.
Conclusively, the governor also approved all state-owned tertiary institution and private institutions to resume regular academic activities come September 21.
