COVID-19: Nigeria Records Lowest Cases in Recent Times, 79

Nigeria has recorded her lowest cases of the COVID-19 disease in recent time, having recorded 79 new cases on Sunday.

According to the Nigeria Center for Diseases Control, NCDC, the total number of cases recorded on Sunday is 79, discovered in 13 states.

The breakdown among the 13 states according to the NCDC showed Lagos state having more than 40% of the 79 new cases.

The 79 new cases recorded on Sunday sumed the total recorded cases in Nigeria to 56,256 with 44,152 patients discharged.

Meanwhile, 1,082 deaths were reported to be COVID-19 induced.
