NASS Postpone Resumption of Plenary Session till 29th September

The National Assembly (NASS) has postponed the resumption of plenary session earlier scheduled for 15th September, 2020.

According to a statement signed by the Acting clerk of the parliamentary body, Mr. Ojo Olatunde Amos, the resumption has been rescheduled for 29th of September, 2020.

The information was disclosed on the verified Twitter handle of the national assembly, @nassnigeria.

The statement reads; “this is to inform all distinguished senators and honourable members of the National Assembly that the resumption of plenary sessions earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 15th September, 2020 is hereby rescheduled for Tuesday 29th September, 2020.

“We regret any inconvenience caused by this change of date.”

Meanwhile, the cause for the change in the resumption date for the plenary session is unknown yet.
