Superstar Ronaldo finally tests Negative to COVID-19, after outburst with test kit

The 35-year-old has been forced to miss the Bianconeri’s past four matches, including a Champions League clash with FC Barcelona in Turin due to COVID-19.

Cristiano Ronaldo has now been cleared to return to the team after testing negative for Covid-19 yesterday.

His clubside confirmed the news on Friday in a statement on their official website.

The statement reads thus; “Cristiano Ronaldo carried out a check with a diagnostic test (swab) for Covid-19,”

“The exam provided a negative result. The player has, therefore, recovered after 19 days and is no longer subjected to home isolation.”

The most loved player will now be eligible to feature in Juventus Serie A match against Spezia on Sunday after he has been out on the previous four matches.

The Superstar originally tested positive for coronavirus on October 13 while on international duty with Portugal, forcing him to miss his country’s 3-0 win over Sweden the next day.

Upon his return, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star was forced to miss four consecutive games as he failed to produce a negative test.

He was unable to participate as Juve drew Crotone and Verona in Serie A matches, while the living football Legend also missed out on a Champions League win over Dynamo Kiev and a 2-0 defeat to Barcelona earlier this week.

The Portuguese Star was unable to face his long-time rival Lionel Messi and Barca made him posted a comment on Instagram questioning the accuracy of the Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests.

In his comment, he said, “PCR IS BULLSH*T.”

He eventually deleted the comment.

The former World player was in fine form before being out due to COVID-19, he has made just two appearances for Juventus this season but has still managed to score three goals and add one assist in those two matches.
