The looting spree going on across the countrg by hoodlums with the excuse of searching for COVID-19 palliatives has been taken to the house of a former speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, on Sunday.
According to a report by PUNCH, the hoodlums stormed the house of the former speaker in Jos at about 9am of Sunday morning, defiling the curfew going on in the state.
Nigeria News World also gathered that the house located near Jos University Teaching Hospital was looted and everyone in the house were attacked the process.
It was also reported that properties as tricycles, furniture, electronics alongside other properties were carted away.
“They broke into the house of the former Speaker and attacked everyone, including Dogara’s brother, and (they) are currently moving anything they see. In the process, the invaders moved several items – tricycles, furniture, electronics, and other valuables – out of the house,” PUNCH reported.
Meanwhile, it was also gathered that the security operatives enforcing the curfew in the state tried stopping the hoodlums by shooting in the air but it was all to no avail as the thugs stormed the house.
