FIOS Continues Orientation and Sensitisation Continues as The Union Visit More Schools

…Vow not to rest until all students are well sensitized and sanitized.

When one considers the rate at which people, these days, suffer a tragic and untimely death from both- showing nonchalant attitude to health and education, one cannot help asking the question ‘Why?’

This, however, is not untraceable to the insensitivity of people to the outrage of this deadly virus. But people are expected to take ‘sound health’ as the first priority, then follows, ‘education’, but reverse is the case.

It is now time the leadership of the Federation of Ifon Orolu Students made sensitizing and orientating students on COVID-19 and importance of education as a matter of urgency.

If not that a thorough selection method is implored, a school that cannot be in any other position, but either 1st or 2nd position on everyone’s mind is OROLU GRAMMAR SCHOOL.

But a just selection prevails on choice. We do not allow any contemplation as far as FIOSites’ welfarism is concerned. OROLU honourably welcomed us as she made the list, today.

Despite that we met the school principal’s absence, but her behaviour, attitude, tolerance and kindness reflect in the school. It is as if we’re being expected.

The school management embraced us. We’re cherished as if we are the mushrooms that spread out OLUFON KINGDOM.

As if we put on our heads, crowns. I must say that the honour we are being accorded with is indescribable. We keep asking ourselves, “so FIOS could honour one like a king!”

We went ahead and discussed with the students. Many thanks to a teacher whose talk based on the fact that the lackadaisical attitude of students to education is, most times, from parents.

He made an instance that some parents do not care to enrol even Primary 1 children into an apprenticeship.

What a misplace of priority! We are urging our guardians and parents to, please, let their children concentrate minds, brains and souls to one thing before another.

Please, let your children pay full concentration on education. They would have time for any other course after secondary school, but why don’t you want quality education for them! Please, help their lives, too.

As usual, we gave FIOS CUSTOMIZED NOSE MASKS to students and members of staff without collecting a dime.

And to observe social distancing as one of the precautionary measures, a few students only took pictures with us.

As of today, 1,500 pieces of FIOS CUSTOMIZED NOSE MASKS have been distributed. I pray we shall not run out of fund.

COVID-19 is real. Please, stay safe!
