FIOS Continues Orientation, Sensitization, as The Union Visits More Schools

Whenever I have had to ask myself the question why people are being made to suffer untold hardship, many answers rush to my mind each of which striving to be the most cogent.

It is, however, not a news that people are facing hell due to being ignorant about the effects of COVID-19 and importance of education.

It is, of course, up to a reason the leadership of the Federation of Ifon Orolu Students make now the high time students known the effects of COVID-19 and importance of education in order to also help them sensitize their relatives.

We, as promised, won’t be influenced by anyone to take up favouratism. As we strictly follow the selection order. We headed to Al-Mansoor Model College being the next school on the table.

The school follows the codes and conducts of the education ministry. It is, indeed, a college as it is well composed.

We’re cheered up by the school proprietor, principal, members of staff and the generality of students. Al-Mansoor cared for us, pampered us.

The school principal is also a comrade. He is alutaristically intelligent. His humility speaks volume. Humble to the fact that he referred to us as ‘one’. His kind is rare in Africa.

Many thanks to a teacher who also supported us while addressing students. We truly appreciate your kindness. Thanks for being who you are.

“Kindly thank your representatives, because they’re now giving you what you do not pay for. Prioritise your education and stay safe. May we, our family members, associates and friends not be in contact with CORONA VIRUS.” Mr. Tijani Kolawole added.

In order to complement government and the school efforts to curtail the spread of COVID-19, we, as usual, distributed FIOS CUSTOMIZED NOSE MASKS to students and members of staff without collecting a dime.

And to maintain social distancing as one of the preventive measures, we did photograph only a few students with us.

As far as today is concerned, we, already, have distributed over 2000 pieces of FIOS CUSTOMIZED NOSE MASKS to students. I pray we shall not run out of fund.

COVID-19 is real. Kindly stay safe!

It still continues, visitation.
